Welcome to my site! What can I say about me? By day I'm a computer scientist working for a large public health institution. The rest of the time, I draw and paint. My primary areas of interest in art are space sciences, science fiction, fantasy, and imaginative realism. My mediums of choice are painting, almost exclusively in acrylics, and drawing with ink. Somewhere in there I also squeeze in some urban sketching and plein air painting.

I'm very math and science oriented and that apparently seems to poke through in my artistic work. I dont have formal art training, but I do go to a studio to help guide my development (I heartily recommend that, it's really good).

What else could I say? I like to share my stuff and can be fairly easily prodded to speak ad-nauseum about what I'm doing, how I do it, and sometimes even why I do it (beyond the obvious "I like space")!
